For
the 41 st “Adolf Grimme Preis”, German
Televisions most prestigious award, Capture created in just one week
a complete on-air package including opener, interstitials and
backgrounds.
Within 2 days we developed the graphical concept, which was approved by the client right away. In the following 3 days we created all on-air elements such as logo bugs, lower thirds and pages for 5 categories, 16 price winners as well as 32 in- and out-bumpers.
Our 3D department created a multi screen presentation for 16 screens during the awards ceremony, displaying clips from the awarded TV productions. We built an animated tracking-shot unleashing the monitors within the monitors to create a dynamic transition to intros. The compositing department completed the task by smoothly blending in the different layers of content.
Since the show was aired life, we had to provide flexibility for the director to adapt to the tempo of the evolving events. Thus our compositing artist had to blend ongoing-loops of lower-thirds in with constantly changing content-layers moving between foreground and background.
